Care and Forget

Here's a poem I made for our school paper. It wasn't approved yet by our adviser and I don't know if it's gonna be published, but just read it anyway

Care and Forget

When almost everyone care for mankind

What future remains for the rest?

Stewards of nature we were once called

Now beast to other creatures the title we withhold

When will we wake up to the sad reality?

That all we give to nature is plain misery?

Mother earth knocked on our doors

Yet we answered her with plain snores

When she strikes, we cry

Then after sometime, we forget the reason why

Why all this happened?

What future lies?

Our care and forget cycle

We cannot deny
